The Rustic Bakery is well known as one of Toronto’s finest bakeries for Calabrese bread, buns, specialty breads, traditional as well as custom wedding cakes, an excellent hot table, delicious catering, mouth watering gelato and much more. Customers from all over Ontario visit us to experience our quality and freshness.
“Nestled in a highly residential area on Rustic Road near Lawrence and Keele, thus I get the impression that this shop is as much a place for a quick grocery run as it is a destination for authentic veal sandwiches and fresh ciabatta…While the chocolate-dipped looks glossy and enticing, I suspect it too sweet for my current craving and stick with the traditional ricotta cannolo. After a few bites, I determine this cannolo is probably among the best I’ve had in Toronto.” Robyn Urback Blogto.com

The Best Espresso
“Their cafe beats Starbucks, Lettieri, or Second Cup … the price is so reasonable and the service is excellent. For one double espresso, two lattes, and four cannolis I paid under $10.” Mariko M.
“Excellent, always a large variety of Italian foods and bakery products. Quick, friendly service.A one stop shop for anything you need.”ariko M.
My parents live in the area. I have loved this bakery from the first day I have walked into it. The staff is always and I mean even if they are busy always been courteous and warm with me. I live in Barrie, ON and I will drive down to Rustic Bakery for a cannoli or for their nocciola cake…my all time favourite.
So i got out with my pastry box, i didnt even wait till I get home. I tried it in my car. Damn. It was so worth the drive and I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE. So, yes, I’m marking this as a go-to cannoli place!!
It’s a gem!

I am a first generation Italian and my parents were caterers. I have a good sense of what is good and not. this place has an awesome hot table, a diverse selection of italian breads, awesome, i mean awesome pasteries (authentic) and cakes, by this i mean the closest i have taste that compares to Italy. try it out, its not on a main street but is easy to find especially in todays society…btw…go early on weekends before 10 am
or all the breads and good stuff will be gone……
